A good starting point is the Winding & Wellness Check, which gives you a clear picture of your watch's current health without committing to a full overhaul. From there, the watchmaker can advise whether additional work would be worthwhile.

We work on a wide range of mechanical movements, including Swiss, Japanese, and German manufacture calibres. For highly complex or brand-proprietary movements, we'll let you know during the initial assessment if the work falls within our scope.

This service is designed for watches with a documented history — a family heirloom, a military-issue piece, a presentation watch, or a limited production with known ownership. The aim is to preserve what makes the watch historically meaningful, not just to make it run again.

For the Wellness Check and most Stem-to-Stern services, case work is light — cleaning and minor surface care. Full re-polishing is only done on request and discussed beforehand. We understand that wear and patina often carry personal meaning.

Prices for each service are set in advance. If the watchmaker discovers that additional parts are needed or that the scope changes meaningfully, you are contacted before any extra work proceeds. Nothing unexpected is added to your bill without discussion.
